I agree ben is top 10, but just because your offense is so much better this year than last year doesnt necessarily mean ben should seriously considered in the mvp race. If you guys didn't have the worst backup qbs in the league, you may not have missed the playoffs and had a closer to average offense last season.
The fact you guys weren't a dumpster fire last year is a testament to your coaching and incredible defense.
Otherwise whoever the bears or jets get at qb next year will have a leg up on mvp simply because they're replacing ineptitude at the qb position.
Yeah that’s a valid point. watching the back ups last year made me sick to my stomach haha.
I think tho say for sake of argument if bears/jets get a new qb and this time next year they are sitting at 9-0 being led by that new qb, that player is going to be highly considered mvp candidate vs how Ben is not rn.
Don’t get me wrong I’m not saying he has a leg up on those other guys I just feel he doesn’t get enough appreciation because he’s not putting up astronomical numbers but he is proving is value to the overall team success.
