Jaguars MLB Paul Posluszny underwent surgery earlier this month to repair a torn labrum in his left shoulder.
Because the surgery took place so late in the process, Posluszny will likely be sidelined for all OTAs and questionable for the start of training camp. The Jaguars have retained defensive coordinator Mel Tucker, so Posluszny is already comfortable in the scheme. An elite run stopper, "Poz" was one of the primary reasons for Jacksonville's 2011 defensive turnaround.

Jaguars MLB Paul Posluszny has "no doubt" that he will be ready for the start of the 2012 season after undergoing shoulder surgery on January 11.
Posluszny does not consider the procedure to be "major." After having his sling removed in a few weeks, he'll meet with doctors to get a timetable on his return. It sounds like he will be fine for training camp.

Yea everything i've read is pretty much the same. Says he'll get his sling removed in about 2 weeks and that he should be ready to roll when training camp starts. He said, this injury was one of the most painful injuries hes had. He said, if he needed surgery, he wanted to do it as soon as possible. He also said, the only thing it'll screw up is a training schedule.

McShay13 Todd McShay
@brandoncward looking forward to seeing him at SR Bowl. One of the more underrated players in draft. Could be another Marques Colston type

McShay's talking about Brian Quick

DE Vinny Curry (6-foot-3, 265 pounds) of out Marshall, might be somebody to watch. Hes got a relentless motor, toughness and his passion for the game is something Gene loves.

I was very impressed by this kid, during the Senior Bowl today. I got to see some of him during the practices, but I made sure I watched him whenever he was in the game today. He looked good rushing the passer. Has a nice bull rush, with the speed and bend to get around the edge. He goes 100% on every play. Ridiculous motor. I really hope we try and draft him. Hes got everything Gene looks for in his players.

I made sure I watched Coples every time he was in as well. At times, the guy was a man amongst boys out there. There was 3 or 4 times, he would make one move and it would leave the blocker grabbing at air as Coples went right by him. There was at least 2 series that he took over and made like 3 straight plays in a row to end the drives. You could see that talent and it would be a steal at #7.

But, there were also a few times where he'd get blocked right out of view. He really looked like he wasn't trying at all at times. He was getting held quite a bit though, that weren't being called and he was being double teamed quite a bit. You could definitely tell he was playing at different speeds, at different times today, for sure. That's the only drawback on him and my only worry <_<

There's a whole shit load of experience on our coaching staff now man. It's amazing how all of a sudden, good coaches want to come to Jacksonville now that Del Rio is gone ^_^ lol..

We can sign our own guys at any time. I expect to see them start trying to resign our players soon. We can't go after other teams FAs till like March 13th or something like that.

@md_1010xl Mike Dempsey
Shad Khan just told me that the Jaguars will be switching to all-black uniforms and that teal will become the third / alternate color.

oic. I've always liked the all black uniforms
