It's really a big blow.

But we do get Kam back this week (I think) and MAYBE Wagner so that would be good.

Does anyone mind recapping the game a bit for me? Couldn't see it but heard like 2-3 4th down stops?

There's really not a lot to recap. The stats kind of speak for itself.

Not sure if you wanted a play-by-play (you could go to espn.com for that stuff) but the general consensus is the following:

1. It was mostly a run game battle. Russell did get two TDs through the air, but it was mostly set up through the run game.
2. We could not convert on two critical fourth and 1s. The first one was at the Kansas City 1 yard line, the second was closer to the end of the game when we needed to extend a play to keep a drive alive. There was a 3rd 4th down, but it was 4th and 19 and so it was pretty unrealistic
3. Our defense could not stop J-Mail
4. We got two turnovers but we could not capitalize on it.

I think this game was winnable for the Hawks, but we just had too many failures on too many different aspects of the game. The fourth down conversions was a big issue, but Russell is having a pretty big funk with his accuracy.

Team lacks solid receivers for the most part.

The problem is I couldn't tell if our inability to stop Jamaal was a result of his obvious talent and hard work, or the fact that we were lacking Mebane, or both.

Mebane is a huge loss but JC is good.

I'm surprised that we couldn't punch in the 4th and 1... That's kinda sad.
