That's what bothers me - he needs a lot of work. We already have a young guy in Perry that the scouts believe needs to a lot of development to get to the level he's expected to play at. Not sure I want to take on another, especially one that would be asked to replace a starter.
I heard NFLN mention something about TT and blah blah blah while Te'o going through drills but didnt catch exactly what they said.
Well I think they were hoping Perry could transition to that OLB from DE. He certainly was much more bulky than an 3-4 OLB should be and that along with the injury really set back his development.
I wouldn't have expected the kid to be able to move like a LB. might have been better off keeping him as a DE and looking for that help elsewhere.
Question is, do you take a flyer on Te'o if he's there at 26.
