Clamps from the rookie

He isn't shadowing them from beginning to the end though.

I mean who does anymore?

Quinyon Mitchell is the truth though. Already playing like a top 10 corner. If only he could catch a little better he'd have a few INT's lol

Of course, there was a reason why he was the best CB coming out in this past draft. I'd just like to see some more numbers on coverage snaps against those guys. Only 2 catches allowed over an entire game is great if a bunch of coverage snaps. 2 catches over 5 coverage snaps not so much etc.

Either way, I hope BTJ is healthy enough to play tomorrow. Would love to see him cook Mitchell. Great matchup.

Chase wasn't targeted much with Mitchell on him. I believe only once or twice total. Chase did beat Darius Slay a few times though when he was on him which is where he did his damage.

Both rookies, Mitchell and Cooper DeJean look like studs. Howie absolutely nailed it with these picks in the first two rounds. DeJean has helped transform the defense since getting a bigger role this past month replacing Avonte Maddox in the slot.

The depth at corner on this team is pretty sick. But the fact that their two rookies have been the most impressive of the bunch is even better. They went from being older/slower relying on Slay and Bradberry to now looking fast and explosive after taking CB's in the first two rounds of the draft. Bradberry is on the roster still but he's an afterthought lol.

Anyways....good luck tomorrow. Looking forward to seeing what ole Dougie P. has cooked up for his former squad.

Both Mitchell and Cooper were top 40 picks for a reason. Our WR core is banged up bad. It's possible we're starting our 4th and 5th WR tomorrow. We activated 2 WRs who haven't played a single snap this season off the practice squad.

Our Defense is far and away the worst in the league so you guys will probably just eat them up, like every team does.

As far as Dougie P goes, he just looks lost and disinterested. Maybe he'll be motivated going against his old team.

Either way brother, just hope it's a good game. Good luck and a healthy game. No need anymore injuries.

After throwing 4 INT's in his first 3 games of the season, Hurts has 0 INT's over his last 5 games.

He has 0 turnovers over the last 4 games.

What a beautiful thing to see. The turnovers early on were concerning and he has been so much smarter with the ball since.

With Darius Slay out with a knee injury Sunday, the Eagles’ oldest defensive starter against the Jaguars was 27-year-old Zach Baun. This was the first meaningful game in franchise history in which the Eagles didn’t have a single defensive starter older than 27. Of their 11 starters, Cooper DeJean is 21, Jalen Carter, Nakobe Dean, Quinyon Mitchell and Nolan Smith are 23, Jordan Davis is 24, Reed Blankenship is 25, C.J. Johnson-Gardner and Isaiah Rodgers are 26 and Josh Sweat and Baun are 27.

k so they beat up

browns (not really)
giants
bengals
jags (tried to give this game away)

now theres a bad stretch coming up to see who this team really is

cowboys
commanders
rams
ravens

Three things im watching:
Is Hurts NOT the game manager I think he is turning into
Can the defense actually keep three good offenses in check
Can the defensive line regain its 2022 form and keep building on the last couple games

I love the run game but can Hurts be crutched on when a shootout needs to happen?
Oline seems to be better than it was earlier this year.
