Just saw this.

For some reason, I feel like Watkins is gonna be a bust. I feel as if Evans might be a safer pick but what do I know.



/e havent seen a thread about it but I've read that the salary caps are being raised? Like 5-6 mil extra space for all

Mayhew envisions talks to begin soon and an extension to get done sometime around the beginning of the new league year and free agency on March 11, or shortly after.

"If you go back to the last two (contracts) that we did that were big deals that were extensions with Matthew (Stafford) and Calvin (Johnson), Matthew's was done after the start of free agency, Calvin's was done on the eve of free agency," Mayhew told beat writers over breakfast Friday morning at the NFL Scouting Combine.

Nah I'm trolling. I think stafford has a good shot of developing into a good qb.

Sometimes he has those moments--I just wish he'd start off games "in those moments"

He's still young etc...sigh...

On another note--I really wish we had suh locked up before they announced the additional cap room--that's probably going to hurt us a little
