How would you feel if Te'o was on the board when it cam time to pick

Hard to say this eary on, but not a fan at the moment. Looked like shit against Alabama. I know he had some great games this year, but against much lesser opponents. Really need to see how he stacks up at the combine.

Regardless though, I trust the guys that will be in the War Room in April to make the right decision. They've got a damn good track record.

Do you not like Bishop? I know most people don't like Hawk as much as I do, but I really like the pair, and individually I'm a big fan of Bishop.

RB's are hard to target for them. You don't want to burn a high pick on a guy who's going to get 10 carries a game. (We haven't had somebody average over 9 carries a game since 2010.)

DL in general is just....ugh. I don't even know how bad those guys are, because they're always so gassed. TT and MM just flat out refuse to sacrifice a few spots on the roster for DL depth. I believe Week 17 they played almost exclusively nickel, because they only dressed 4 DL for the game. It's hard to gauge a guy's play when he's always tired.
I do like having Pickett and Raji on the field at the same time though.

I like bishop but, the MLB position of a 3-4 is the HEART and you can't tell me the heart of our defense is even close to being the MLB spot. It's OLB with clay and then next in line our secondary.

I like the DT's but the DE's I just think blah sometimes.

That's an interesting thought. I've always looked at the NT as the heart of the 3-4, followed by the DEs. To be successful with the 3-4, you absolutely NEED three guys that can consistently tie up 2-3 OLineman to create lanes for the blitzing LB and to force the RB to bounce to the LBs instead of staying in his lanes.

Reading through some stats, led me to this - Terrell Manning played 44 snaps this year (all on special teams), 39 of which were in the two playoff games. Maybe a sign that he's finally making strides in the recovery from the parasite/weight loss thing? Sure hope so, since he was touted as a sleeper pick in the 5th.

finley tweeted there is a 50/50 chance which i think is pretty accurate. i think he's over his bullshit and with losing Driver + Jennings I think TT and coach will realize they need to keep a big target.

that being said, there are a TON of gifted FAs on both sides of the ball available... even tho that isn't the GB way, i'd love to see some moves this offseason

I'd like to think the Finley we saw down the stretch this year is the one that will be around permanently and that we end up keeping him. Definitely much closer to what we've been waiting for at the end of the year than he's been since the injury.
