I've seen a lot of Johnny Manziel and Brett Hundley mocked.
I can't wait till the combine and individual workouts, Always added optimism when you're drafting top 10.
I wouldn't mind a stud defensive pick and take a chance on Mccarron, Mettenberger, Murray.

Also would jizz everywhere if we somehow traded up and got Bridgewater, I'm in love with his game. Extremely accurate and just mobile enough to get you out of tough spots but not a runner like RG3 (which is a huge plus IMO)

Patterson only rookie on the all-pro team

He is a beast at KR but i hope he develops into a decent WR. To be fair he has no one worth mentioning throwing to him but with Jenning/Randolph he should gets some nice looks next year if we pick a qb up.

I didn't pay attention to Vikings football this year too much but how did the two defensive players we drafted pan out? I think one was named Sherif something and can't remember the other ones name.

Rhodes played great down the second half of the season, looking like he can be a solid sutdown Corner. Flloyd still didn't play much because he was learning behind Kevin Williams, but when he was in there he looked prety solid with QB disruption which is what we drafted him for. Too early to tell for him though. Patterson was started to get used in the offense A LOT more towards the end of the season and looked like a stud. Great positioning to win battles with CBs. The major problem he has is with his hands he wasn't a consistent catcher he dropped a lot of catachable passes that weren't contested, so hopefully he works on that a lot in the offseason.



What do the fellow vikings want for this offseason? If I were to play mini GM this would be my thought process. Since we have a lot of cap space sign either Verner or Byrd. Two stud layers at CB or Safety that are extremely young. When QBs threw against verner their QB rating was only like a 56 which is second best to Richard Sherman. And we all know about Jarius Bryd. We definitely have to space to sign one of them and neither of them got tagged or an extension so it looks like they may test the market.

With the back end sort of worked on with Rhodes and Verner would be two shutdown corners. So for the draft WHAT I WOULD LIKE to happen. If the texans pass on teddy, Trade the rams. They would definitely not ask for as much as they did with the RG3 trade. It would in my honest estimation only take our 8th overall, maybe both 3rds. Maybe just one of them. And next seasons 2nd round. I don't see the demand for that pick being as high. And then we finally land a FRANCHISE QB with little questions as opposed to testing and hoping another QB pans out for us which has never worked out for the vikings in a long time with culpepper being the one exclusion. Get the best defensive player in the 2nd round like shaizer or a Safety or a DT depending who falls. we should be ok at DE if we resign Griffen. MY THOUGHTS on the draft
