Darrelle Revis is growing that James Harden-like beard. LOL

I wish we had the salary cap to go after him. We've got Brian Cushing coming back from a torn ACL. So Revis would be in the same boat as him. I'd say goodbye to Kareem Jackson in a heart beat for Revis, even though Kareem was one of the most improved players in the league.

2007 NFL Draft... I still have nightmares from that draft. We really blew it with the 10th pick. Three studs went shortly after, including Darrelle Revis.

10. Houston Texans, Amobi Okoye DT Louisville
11. San Francisco 49ers, Patrick Willis LB Ole Miss SEC
12. Buffalo Bills, Marshawn Lynch RB California Pac-10
13. St. Louis Rams, Adam Carriker DT Nebraska Big 12
14. New York Jets, Darrelle Revis CB Pittsburgh

Please send me the DeLorean so we can go "Back to the Future!"

Wasn't okoye like 19 or some shit too? I seem to recall him being super young when he went to Louisville.

"Jay Adams writes that most of the early mock drafts have the Falcons taking a tight end at No. 30. That could happen. But, as I wrote last week, the Falcons are lobbying Tony Gonzalez to come back for one more season and I think there’s a decent chance of that happening. "

nothing final but they are pushing hard to keep him and it seems more likely he will stay than go from what i can see

Wait.. this forum actually has Falcon fans? lol.. wow

Real talk -- Tony Gonzalez was awful at run blocking last year. We need to bring in someone new anyways. I like GoAGoA's idea..

Sign Tony G, bring in Delanie Walker (who will want too much $), Draft a good RB or go after Bradshaw == superbowl

Ehh. I wouldn't say we sweet both caronlina and tampa. It's easy to say, but we won't...

This will be a much harder season for us in terms of "elite" competition. Greenbay, San fran, Nola away..... then seattle and Nola at home.

i look at those games in terms of need for the season. Mike Smith can say we tried all he wants in week 17 vs Tampa but lets be real, the guys had no motivation. The Buc's only worry me if Freeman can show signs on consistency

As for the Panthers I could definitely see a loss to them, but trying to be optimistic :P

But yeah, anyone who bitched about our schedule this year will get to see us tested next year. 4 division winners will be tough.

I see atl pressed against the cap honestly... if we do bring tony back then i dont see us bringing in any fa's unless he comes back for cheap just because he wants a shot at a ring.

I do however love the idea of bradshaw... the guy would bring some fire to this team even more( kinda like asante coming in on the d side of the ball) and he is explosive.. but the cost w/injuries is a question mark for him. Maybe we can get a cheap te in fa that can compete.

this ...

I could see us beating one or two of the elite teams and losing to a lesser opp... 11-5 or 12-4 is what i am looking for barring injury.

What i hope happens....

Find a starter at DE, find a true game breaker at return man, Tony comes back, Draft a young power back with good burst.... INVOLVE OUR SLOT WR for god sakes... or find one that wins... i dont know which it is but... HD let me down we he got the Carpet monster this may have to wait till next year. find a lb that can cover TE's..... looking for this in the second round.

think this falls into as such.

picks:
#1 DE
#2 DT/LB
#3 LB/RB
#BPA from then on i hope.

thoughts ideas on people who you have on mind?

FA signings will weigh heavily on our draft

no tony G ----> need a TE ASAP
no bradshaw and cut turner ----> need a RB ASAP

i would love to sign those two and focus on our line.

if one of them doesn't work then draft an early round rb/te (whichever we can't sign out of FA) and i saw a week or so ago that the lion released vanden bosch too so maybe look at signing him cheap since he's got a good year or two left in him i'm sure?

dunno, lot of possibilities

oh and trade for harvin ofc, offense would be unstoppable with roddy, julio, percy, tony g lol (and yes, i'm aware we would have no where near the cap room for this )
