Justin Gilbert at 10 wouldn't be a bad pick I guess, maybe even trading down 7-8 spots and getting another second rounder and still taking Dennard

I would love to see us draft down and grab another second round pick.

I think teams should try to do that every year they can unless they're taking Andrew luck

Looking to strengthen their secondary, the Lions have picked up a defensive back from the waiver wire.
Isa Abdul-Quddus was placed on waivers by the New Orleans Saints in early January, and claimed by the Lions on Monday.
According to espn.com, Quddus, 6-1 and 205, was used primarily as a special teams player with the Saints, racking up 74 tackles and a pair of interceptions in 42 games.

The more people we have to choose from the better for next season imo.

It's a tough choice. A wideout for Calvin or a top dog saftey or corner

gonna be a lot of WRs in the draft and in FA...we need to solidify our DBs...just my opinion..cuz we don't know if broyles is staying or going...I think getting a WR for Calvin is a less of a need if our defense can't stop the other team from scoring..just glad that our needs aren't that great this year...

Broyles hasn't shown he is worth keeping imo.

Yeah, the guy is constantly injured, which sucks because if he could stay healthy a full season I don't think he'd do that bad.

I'm all for going with a WR if it's Watkins or Evans. If they're taken, I'd rather go with a CB or OLB.

Of our 9 losses... our defense would have won those games. Our offense was god awful. When your defense is on the field for 45 minutes a game you have a problem.
Our BIGGEST weak point was offense this year. There isn't even a question about it.
WR is our top concern. Not only so that Calvin Johnson lasts, but because that is BY FAR our weakest position.
