Yea I know a lot of people that watched them. I thought it was a nerdy movie when they first came on DVD is when I first heard of them but people say it's really good.... but long like 3+ hours I think?

Just never appealed to me... maybe eventually I'll get around to watch them one day.

That's what I thought too and I didn't watch them until I met my wife. She wanted me to watch them with her and I ended up liking them. We went to see The Hobbit together when that released recently. Yeah, they're long but the story and action is worth it, albeit some parts do seem to drag on.

Yea I'll definitely have to rent them sometime, my wifey still hasn't seen them either so we'll see. So many people say it's great... I was late watching 300 too... saw it for the first time about 3 years ago and have watched it at least 6 more times since... those fight scenes are amazing.

Yeah, I read and watched The Lord of the ring

Pretty epic, you don't have to be those nerds to enjoy the movie, the action and storyline is pretty cool.

Edit
I'm bored of my sig, it didn't bring enough rages, anyone got JPP sig?

Roster Moves-Childers, Jackson, Rogers signed

EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. – The Giants today announced the signing of three players to reserve/future contracts: tight end Jamie Childers, cornerback Buddy Jackson and kicker/punter Jake Rogers.

Childers, 6-4 and 247 pounds, was originally signed as a rookie free agent by the St. Louis Rams on May 10, 2012. He played in one preseason game before he was waived on Aug. 16. Childers played both tight end and quarterback at Coastal Carolina. At tight end, he had 30 receptions for 451 yards (15.0-yard avg.) and four touchdowns. As a quarterback, he completed 48 of 108 passes for 545 yards with five touchdowns and rushed for 280 yards and four scores on 91 carries.

Jackson, 6-3 and 183 pounds, was signed as a rookie free agent by the Indianapolis Colts on May 4, 2012. He was waived injured on Aug. 15. Jackson joined the Washington Redskins’ practice squad on Nov. 12 and spent the rest of the season there. As a senior at the University of Pittsburgh, Jackson had 34 tackles (23 solo), four passes defensed and a fumble recovery.

Rogers, 6-2 and 203 pounds, signed with the New Orleans Saints as an undrafted free agent on July 28, 2011. He was waived on Aug. 3 and signed two days later with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. In the 2011 preseason, Rogers made all three of his field goal attempts for the Bucs – from 46, 29 and 21 yards – and punted six times for a 41.7-yard gross average and a 24.5-yard net average with a long kick of 48 yards.

Rogers is the career scoring leader at the University of Cincinnati with 399 points. In college, he hit 51 of 75 field goal attempts and 186 of 194 extra point tries. As a senior, he also handled punting duties and averaged 41.6 yards on 43 kicks.

both Childers and Jackson are excellent athletes, but very raw.

Jackson tested athletically was one of the best CB's in the 2012 NFL Draft.

Just watched Eli Manning discreetly give several hotel workers at Pro Bowl each $100 bills, calling them by their first names. That's class.

Class all the way.... gotta love Eli and if not at least respect him
