Kaepernick isn't a rookie.
But by all means, go ahead and be another uneducated idiot about this. Anybody with eyes can see that there should have been a spy on Kaep and Walden had no business on the field. This loss is on Capers, not the players.

I think we need two inside MLB's. Perry will be much improved from last year but our MLB's need to be almost the heart and soul. Hawk just isn't fast enough, although he didn't play bad this year we just need a playmaker, a run stuffer, something.. It's rough watching this defense when your MLB's who are suppose to be the Heart of the defense can't stop much of anything.

Bishop is the best ILB they have. There just wasn't enough depth on the front 7 to make up for guys going down.

That said, I really think it might be time to part ways with Capers. Last season and last night are plenty of proof that he has no answers when the defense isn't creating pressure. How there were not major adjustments made at half is beyond me.

Agreed on the halftime adjustments, not a single thing happened... But who do you get? Do you go back to a 4-3 and pretty much fuck Matthews? Finding a good 3-4 Defensive C. isn't going to be simple though.

However we were ranked 11th this year in defense which is a HELL of a lot better then last year with all these rookies playing on defense.

Go after DL depth. Raji and Pickett are not enough. I like Neal but he seems to always be hurt.
The secondary is solid, even if Woodson leaves. I still think the LBs are okay if they're healthy. Maybe a bit of depth there. I just hate that they carry no more than 5 DLineman at a time. It's hurt them before. The second Vikings game, they played Nickel a majority of the time because they only dressed 3 DL due to injury.

It's going to be very interesting to see what members of the staff are left standing after this.
