The Texans Cheerleaders taped their new Freestyle Friday last night on Halloween. LOL, nice thriller song!
I'm excited for Sunday Night's game. A win would get the Texans to 3-5 and 2-0 in the division. It can maybe save their season. They would still be alive in both the division race and wild-card race with some winnable games coming up. It's not impossible but in order to do it they can only focus on one game at a time. If they can go 6-0 in the division and beat the Colts twice, their odds would actually be better to win the division instead of the wild card.
There are no excuses either. We have a lot of good players out for the season - Brian Cushing, Owen Daniels, Danieal Manning - but you have to win with whoever suits up. I don't exactly see the Colts throwing in the towel just because they lost Reggie Wayne for the season. They are still talking about making the playoffs and we should be also.
Case Keenum , who played with the Houston Cougars and has always been a hometown favorite, playing with the spirit of Battle Red Day on Sunday Night Football on NBC. Going up against Andrew Luck, who grew up in Houston. It doesn't get any bigger than that. Two Texas gunslingers. There are many of them starting at quarterback in the NFL right now. The best one likely being Drew Brees but Andrew Luck is pretty special himself.
Not to insinuate any added pressure but the Texans destroyed the Super Bowl champion Ravens 43-13 last year on Battle Red Day. Hopefully our pass rush can come alive, force some turnovers, and cause some havoc for Andrew Luck the same way they did to Joe Flacco in that game. For some reason the Texans usually play good football when they wear those battle red jerseys.
