i just checked espn and it said 33

personally i believe eli needs to take more sacks instead of trying to force it downfield

Agreed but we HAVE to upgrade the O-line and let Wilson carry the load with Brown and Bradshaw backing him

NFL.com is fucked up

we need someone to replace diehl and baas, they didn't have very good seasons but snee, boothe and beatty played well. i also don't think wilson is consistent enough to carry the majority of the load yet, i think andre brown and bradshaw should split most of the carries with wilson being the change of pace back.

at least we always have one QB starter in years comparing to all other teams in our division.

iirc last 7 years, redskins, cowboys, eagles combined over 20+ different QB starters.

This is just an outsiders view, but the Giants looked complacent most of the season.

It was hard for me to evaluate what the real weaknesses were because more than a few times, the intensity just wasn't there.

For that D line to break containment as many times as they did, being as talented as they are, left me wondering if they were all hurt or something...

I'm not a big follower of the Giants but living in Baltimore we see a lot of NFC East games and whenever i watched the Giants play, they seemed to be moving at 75%

I'm not saying they should stay stagnant, every team has upgrades they can make, but the structure and talent i still believe are ring worthy. Just need to become hungry again.

Baas sucks... Diehl is done as a starter. I'd sign him to the vet min as he would be good depth.'Snee had a bad season, hopefully he comes back motivated and back to his beast self.
We need to lock up Beatty, he's a stud.

Wilson and Bradshaw/Brown can carry the load with Wilson the majority. Wilson isn't a small guy, he's almost as big as Bradshaw, difference is he has blazing speed and excellent balance.
Bradshaw would be a good #2 and a great #3. Bradshaw would be ideal in the 2nd half or the 2nd Q.

Not a chance Wilson doesn't get the majority of the carries next season... they will not make that same mistake twice. You would have to be crazy to want Bradshaw/brown over Wilson. Wilson is not a change of pace back, he's a difference maker.

wilson isn't tough enough to fight through small holes though. from what i saw this season he exploded through the big holes, but he hesitated and was stopped for little/no gain when it was a small hole in the middle

They were definitely complacent and lacked hunger, definitely agree there.

Nice to hear a non-Giants fans realize we aren't far off from making another deep playoff run. Talent is there, especially if we reload some areas.

Thanks for the post.

I think this is pretty much the problem.
giants failed first couple years after 2007, then improved slightly, then come 2011!

give us year or so and we'll be hungry again.

He's powerful enough, he lacks vision right now. Took often he wanted to hit the hole but the blocking wasn't there, has to become more patient which comes with experience. Was his rookie season he's going to be much better next season with OTA's and another camp/pre season under his belt. Not to mention a full strength and conditioning program with extensive time in the weight room.

We upgrade that O-line and watch out
