Lynch is worried they will let him go since Christine Michael is looking like he will be the next RB the Hawks go with. He must of seen Jamaal Charles holding out on camp until he got new deal and is now the 2nd highest paid RB in the NFL I think.


As much as I like Lynch I dont think he will get some big offer like he is expecting.

He did phenomenal two seasons ago, this last season wasn't as great despite our SB win.
I think the party is over for beast if he keeps this up...

Marshawn is the face of the franchise, well he was, he needs to be treated like such.
The guy deserves to be paid.
He's got another year of being a badass left.

How can he get paid?


I am pretty sure they dont have enough cap space to get paid like he wants. They want to sign Wilson long term and Lynch needs to honor his contract as it is instead of refusing to go to camp until he gets a new contract.

Christine Michael is who the Hawks are bringing up to replace Lynch in the future and he knows it.

Michael is small as fuck and slower than Turbin in the 40.
Lynch is already getting paid 5 mill this year, he wants to be locked up.

but slower at everything else and Turbins vertical and broad jump are less than Michaels

Should look them up before you start saying hes small as fuck and slower then turbin as if its that big of a difference

Michael is much more agile and will be a much better yards per carry RB then Turbin will be

Michael is an athletic freak...the highest SPARQ score in the last 2 drafts. Look at Goobear's post...1.49 10 yard split, 4.02 SS, 6.69 3-cone, 43in vert, all at 5'10" 220lb, those are insane.


Lynch got a front loaded deal after playing at a high level for only half a season and got paid 17m over the last 2 season, now he wants to holdout when the deal becomes a little team friendly and he is still paid like a top 6 back (heard it was top 5 before Charles extended). I can understand Lynch's reasoning somewhat, but I don't feel sorry for him and he is not underpaid nor has he been.
