This is my current top 10

Runningbacks
1. LeSean McCoy-PHI
2. Adrian Peterson-MIN
3. Jamaal Charles-KC
4. Marshawn Lynch-SEA
5. Arian Foster-HOU
6. Alfred Morris-WAS
7. DeMarco Murray-DAL
8. Eddie Lacy-GB
9. Matt Forte-CHI
10. Reggie Bush-DET

Probably going to swap Forte and Lacy

Yeah, I'm reaching for Morris.

until houston's offense can prove it's a passing threat as well i have no faith in foster, i'd have him down towards 7 or so for now, definitely 5 if they have a balanced attack

for non ppr right now i'd put lacy at 6, foster 7, bush 8 (he'd be like 6 if ppr) then morris and murray

Texans have the best schedule, fantasy wise. Worth a shot. And they upgraded QB's from last year to me. Just worried about Andre.

yeah, i actually like fitzpatrick a lot. he had a sick start to the 2011 or 2012 season if i recall, then got his contract and basically shit the bed

if he's playing for his job i think he'll make a splash with the texans

Last year he ended with Tennessee, he did pretty damn good, was a key pickup in my fantasy leagues(I had Rodgers in almost all of them) and he got around 20pts a week. Now he upgraded offense if they keep Andre. Weak defensive division outside of Houston. Can have a solid year, both passing and running.

In a 10 Man League - Non PPR

What would be some rule of thumb to live by?

Last year I went QB - Rodgers first and ended up biting me in the butt when he got hurt, otherwise I had a decent team but I didn't have any strategy. Would like to have a better strategy going into the draft.

Any draft tips? - Like Take 2 RB's before taking 2 Wr's, or such? Or if I'm in the top 3, middle 3, or back 4 what to aim for, ect..

Edit: It's also an in person draft, and we take shots to each round so I'd like to write things down when I start getting fucked up haha

players will get hurt, some even in preseason. That part is unavoidable, so I would not let that leave a negative persuasion against Rodgers or towards skipping an elite QB in the first round.

In general, If im top 4 in picks, i hate my life but try to take a "legend" ... someone who is known to dominate the top 5 year after year, is in extreme demand, and will not leave my roster for any circumstance other than season ending injury.
Examples: Peyton, Rodgers, AP, JC, Megatron, Brees, McCoy, Lynch

If Im mid pack, I usually go play the "Prevent" role where Im trying to decide who I MUST NOT let fall to end of the pack. Which player did the first 3-5 picks pass on, who I simply cannot allow to fall further. Keep in mind, the bottom 3 drafters will basically get back2back picks... prevent them from getting "that guy".
Examples here would be like Gronk, Graham, Forte, Gore, B.Marsh, Foster, Nelson, Dez.

If Im bottom 3-4, I will not take a QB unless Rodgers, Peyton, or Brees has fallen. pick up any remaining WR/RB superheros that are left, then turn right around and do it again. This is my fav spot to be as I avoid the headache of "is this guy worthy of pick # ___?" and I ended with 2 damn good players. I kinda try for 1RB and 1WR but will take two of either depending.
Examples are endless ... just take your 2 favorite WR/RB combos ... and then do it again ... and then maybe again, and then oh sh1t! i need an average yet consistent QB.

Typically, my draft would look similar to this:

Picks 1-4: QB, RB, WR, RB, WR, RB, TE ____________ DEF, K

Picks 4-7: RB, WR, QB, RB, WR, RB, TE ____________ DEF, K

Picks 7-10: RB, RB, WR, RB, QB, WR, TE ____________ DEF, K

I do not go QB crazy, I got Brady in round 4 last year and would have been fine waiting till round 6 for my QB if he was taken.
