Market for Jake Long, could he be a Giant in 2013?

going to leave this here for discussion after the game. Has some really nice insight about FA O-linemen and draft

Doesn't seem like the type of thing the Giants do

A lot of positives today...

Ended season on a positive note, went out in a blowout win, team(players and coaches) showed heart and conviction, Gilbride showed he knows what a wheel route is, Gilbride showed he knows he has others players on the team besides just Nicks/Cruz, Gilbride shows showed he can hopefully expand his playbook if he's back next season(most likely will be)

Eli passed for 5 TD's, 4 TDs in one half both career high's

Now...... on the next season :)

-Retool the O-line through FA/draft to give Eli time to throw and give our RB's some holes to work with

-Hopefully Webster comes back ready to play next season, Prince is a stud, Hosley is promising, we need to draft another corner and hopefully we can stay healthy in the secondary next season

-Let Fewell walk, this was his final year under contract for us

-Hopefully Gilbride gets a HC job somewhere and if not hopefully he expands his fucking playbook like he showed he's capable of doing today....

-D-line, we might have seen the last of Osi, possibly Tuck if he retires/gets released, move Kiwi back into the rotation, I'd love to resign Osi, draft a DE/DT

-LB's have some talent there but we need guys to step up like Jacquian Williams(needs to stay healthy), Herzlich can he start next season?, move Kiwi back in the D-line rotation, bring Boley back, is Paysinger anything more than a ST ace?, we need to find a ILB if Herzlich isn't the guy.... tired of watching Chase man the middle as much as I love the guy we need to get faster, stronger and more athletic

I feel great about our team moving forward and I'm not at all as sad about missing the playoffs with the way things ended off today. We knew it was a long shot.

If the Cowboys win tonight, the NFC West team we host will be the Rams. The NFC South team we travel to will be the Saints.
If the Redskins win tonight, the NFC West team we host will be the Seahawks. The NFC South team we travel to will be the Panthers.

So yeah, brought my girlfriend to her first ever professional football game. It was an amazing game to go to, despite realizing that we wouldn't be making the playoffs.

Sucks about that last part though -_-
