Thoughts on second year wideout DeAndre Hopkins? Will he be a good value pick in the late round?

Most definitely.

Most definitely.

Nuk! His hands are freakishly large. 52 receptions for 802 yards and 2 TDs as a rookie despite Schaub performing miserably. He just needs somebody to throw it to him consistently and accurately. He could be such a beast in the red zone and rack up double-digit TD receptions if given the chance.

I'm hoping Ryan Fitzpatrick can at least sling some passes down the field. In the long run I think Tom Savage is going to win the starting nod at quarterback. He has all the physical tools you need in a good NFL starting quarterback. Case Keenum has a little experience and did throw one TD pass to DeAndre Hopkins last year, but his lack of size and constant struggles to adjust and read the defenses will hurt his chances.

This could be a fantasy sleeper one day. If he played with an elite quarterback he'd already be a household name.

My honest expectations out of DeAndre Hopkins for 2014: 70 receptions for 1,120 yards and 8 TDs.

I'm not sure hopkins has his breakout season until they get a qb + andre johnson leaves. As for next season, I don't think there can be 2 viable texans WRs for fantasy with fitzpatrick at QB. They just won't throw the ball enough.

I expect a bit of a down year for Andre Johnson in 2014. He's going to turn 33 years old in one week and is coming off a monster 2013 season last year producing 109 receptions for 1,407 yards and 5 TDs. Some people don't even have him listed in their top five WR when he clearly is one of the best wide receivers in the league (right now). But I don't think his heart is in it anymore. Coming off a 2-14 year. Lack of Touchdown totals may hurt his Hall of Fame chances one day but everywhere else, stats wise, he's on par with the best in the game.

I just don't see Andre having a big season this year. We'll probably just use him for red zone passes. I still expect DH to have a great season for himself.

What's too high for Andre Johnson in fantasy league? Third or fourth round? Higher or lower?

At the highest, I wouldn't take him until the fourth this year.

That's a good point but it seems like the last 3 years that's always the expectation in the preseason, kind of similar to Frank gore. All preseason everyone talks about how they are too old and won't be as productive, then they come out and ball lol

Kind of weak at RB behind Gio Bernard and Pierce though.

Ellington is going to receive 20-30 touches a game, with an improved offense, he's going to be a solid option.

Sankey is he best RB from this class going to a team with a solid OL, not much of a passing game with a coach who wants to pound the ball.

And then Pierce is just going to be a starting RB you can get in the 10th lol.
