I'm still hopeful for the Texans this season. Matt Schaub can't possibly play worse, we are 2-3, and still got 5 division games left (including 2 against the Colts).

Four division games left against teams who are among the worst teams at stopping the run: Colts (30th ranked) and Jaguars (32nd ranked). Also the Rams (27th) and Chiefs (21st) coming up are also bad at stopping the run. The Texans are 43-6 when they run the ball 30 times or more in a game with Gary Kubiak as head coach. Let's get back to winning ugly games, playing smash mouth football and controlling the time of possession with two good running backs, and allowing our #1 ranked defense to win games. That to me would be the solution to turning this mess around.

Schaub is still 100% confident of his abilities and is "licking his chops" to get back out there against STL.

He's having a great season so far, but it's 10x easier to play like he's playing when you have OD next to you and Andre/Deandre on the same offense. Griffin was solid in the preseason, but haven't gotten any playing time yet.

Derek Newton is fuckin awful as well. Can we play Brennan Williams, or is he still hurt? Even at this point I'd consider benching him for Ryan Harris.
