Like who though? PFF gave the Eagles an A, and Sports Illustrated gave the Eagles an A+. By all accounts, they absolutely nailed this draft i'm not sure the fan base could be much happier right now. Getting their guy Davis, then trading for AJ Brown, Jurgens, then getting an absolute steal with Nakobe Dean in the third round.
Not only that, but they went hard after the draft too with the undrafted signings. Based off the UDFA rankings at NFL.com, the Eagles signed the top 2 undrafted QBs, 3rd ranked RB, 8th WR, 2nd and 3rd IOL, 2nd IDL, 2nd and 11th and 15th CBs, and 8th S.
Gotta love the Carson Strong signing though, kid has a huge arm and had it not been for the questions about his knee injuries he'd have been drafted early on (he was once projected as a first round pick). Low risk, high reward type of signing for a guy that could end up cracking the roster eventually.
Yeah eagles made out well, criticisms I saw with the Davis pick questioned his motor and lack of sack production in college, but no doubt his athleticism is something to be excited about. AJ Brown deal was huge. Other criticisms I saw questioned the Jurgens pick in the 2nd, he’s clearly going to be playing behind kelce for at least a year, so it wasn’t a “now” move, although clearly Kelce can’t play forever, so it’s a good long term move, but there was a lot of immediately playable talent on the board at that pick.
It’s all nitpicking anyway, and I was mostly just trolling. Probably most teams are happy with their draft, time will tell how things actually worked out for each franchise
