It still doesn’t change the fact that “you control your own destiny” in this case though. It’s basically no ones fault but their own if they don’t make the playoffs or win games and it comes down to making the correct decisions. Obviously enough good decisions were not had thus he ended up in a position where he needs a team that’s out of the playoffs to beat another team. Again, it sucks that the team has given up but it’s life and if you’re going to get upset over some fg then don’t gamble cause at the end of the day you’re gambling playing FF.

Agree with that, but I can understand the other point about being more upset with Zeal if he has just been consistently making no effort to try and get active participation from a guy that's been missing for an extended period of time—especially if it's been impacting him in multiple weeks.

Perhaps if we saw the regular season standings we could determine how all of this affects the commish who has no will to make changes.

For context... this is how its looking:

Me (5-8) - 1410.3 + (projected) 142.67 = 1552.97 (100% winning and going to be 6-8 tho)

Lakeshow (6-7) - 1423.98 + (projected) 126.15 = 1550.13 (might win by slight)

Slimesy (6-7) - 1485.66 + (projected) 118.21 = 1587.94 (looks to be winner and go 7-7)

chris (6-7) - 1493.88 + 115.42 (final) = 1,609.3 (100% going to lose to me and go 6-8)

zero (6-7) 1418.42 + (final) 85.48 = 1,503






Current contenders for final spots:

5. Chrisdabomb
6. Slimesy
7. Lakeshow
8. Zero
9. Me


Final Playoff spots:

5.Slimesy
6. Zero if handed a win or out if loses
7. Lakeshow if winner, Chrisdabomb if lakeshow loses

However if zero loses to swish (the dude with 4 people out)...and lake loses, I would have the projected tiebreaker over lake and chris would be spot 6 and id squeak in at 7. I believe.


Its mainly unfair to me...as it 100% leaves me no shot. but def.. affects Lakeshow and chris as well. Zero would most likely lost to any lineup of active players had swish set his line up... then it would come down to lake losing or winning. If lakeshow loses tonight while just handing a playoff spot to zero, Imma b sick. XD

I am not in this but ran the 2K... Had some similar stuff happen but obviously not to this extent. I had to plug in players minutes before kickoff a couple of times

Out of curiosity what should have been done in your opinion? Sounds like this has been an ongoing issue, do you remove the inactive GM from the league and hand the team to another user?(What happens with the winnings if he cashes?) The commish sets the guys lineup every week? (What if BillsMafia thinks I set a weak ass lineup?) It is kind of a crap shoot...

As a commish you would assume 10000fg would facilitate active participation but doesn't always go like that... Personally next year I am considering a prize for B Side champ. Some of the guys towards the bottom of the standings have something to play for. Still doesn't mean people will stay active when they are 2 & 11...

Swishh set his lineup week 12, he won week 13 with the same lineup, and on Saturday BillsMafia pointed out he had 4 players listed as OUT on his starting roster for week 14. At that point I can either take control of his team and influence the outcome of the league or take no action. I took no action.

It's a shitty situation caused by swishh bailing on the league in the last week. We deliberated about it and ultimately the most neutral course of action is no action. I'm not going to set somebody's lineup for them. The chips will fall where they do. Given that Swishh hasn't been on jsp since Oct 1st and nobody can contact him other than here on jsp or through the sleeper App , we can conclude he is not colluding with Zero to grant him a playoff spot. He stopped managing his team after week 12. I'm not changing the playoff format so more people get in either.

Swishh won't be welcomed in the league next year and we'll do a weekly payout for the top score to encourage people to set their lineups every week. If you want to make playoffs don't be 6-7 going into week 14 🤷‍♂️.

Yeah but you and zero are best friends, so you decided to hand him the playoff spot by deciding to do nothing. COLLUSION.

and if you're gonna have a neutral course of take no action, keep that same energy of taking no action when I drop all my star players next week for everyone in the playoffs to claim homeboyyyy.

I feel like if commish has not made any previous roster adjustments, none should be made for the last week of regular season.

Haven’t read all of the comments to determine if commish has made any roster changes due to inactive/bye week players to this point

edit: unfortunate it has come down to an inactive player messing up playoffs, those kind of players suck!
