So I just got shoulder surgery performed on my right (dominant) shoulder yesterday afternoon, and I told my professors about it late last week... said it'd be really hard to make it to class (can't drive safely, can't take notes or carry anything)... and one of my professors just tried telling me that because I cannot come to class for 5 weeks, he wants me to take a medical leave and drop the class. I asked why he can't just record his lectures, and he said he's lucky he can even turn his laptop on (bad with technology).... or why I can't just get notes from friends in the class, and he said that's not sufficient.
This is my one fucking business elective out of ten classes I'm taking for my masters degree, at a school I went to undergrad for, and my dad works for. I'm graduating this may and have accepted a full-time offer to start with a company this fall, assuming i'm at 150 credits to get my cpa license. I'm high as fuck off pain meds and I'm about to fucking go off rolf
so basically hes a lazy fuck. talk to a few higher up ppl, it should get resolved pretty easily that way. there is no way he can try to force u to drop a class like that when the semester is half over already
