JFC this offense is going to be fuckin terrible if Daniels is out.

At this point, with Schaub, I don't think it can get any worse. Hopefully he builds up some confidence against the rams on Sunday and get hot. Any given Sunday.

I'm worried that Sam Bradford is going to pick apart our defense. He's had a couple of three touchdown games already. We have to start dominating the run game again. Ben Tate has some fumble issues and Arian Foster is still not breaking many big runs consistently. That's a concern to me but overall a win on Sunday against the Rams would give the Texans a 3-3 record. That would at least put us back into the AFC playoff picture.

I think what a good question to ask Kubiak yesterday during the press conference would have been "why did you decide to get Yates in there?"

Matt Schaub already named the starter for the Rams game on Sunday? That was fast.
Odds that he will throw a pick six for a new NFL record fifth straight game?

Just need to regroup and see what happens on Sunday against the Rams. Owen Daniels being out 4-to-8 weeks is going to hurt Matt Schaub even more. Not having that go-to target over the middle of the field is a big loss, but Daniels had lost a step and wasn't creating any separation like his younger days. His production was going down but he was still a good red-zone target (3 TDs in 5 games).

Hopefully Garrett Graham shines as the starter and Ryan Griffin makes some noise. We have younger tight ends on the roster that can make plays. Good article on rookie tight end Ryan Griffin before the last game. The kid is hungry to play and this is a great opportunity for him.

Now he'll be elevated from third-string to backup tight end. He'll be on the field a lot more than he was the first five games.

Garrett will easily hold his own he is a very solid TE and will have no problems. Of course Griffin is another story but we can only hope for the best from him. He is a big guy and we may be able to utilize that this sunday, we'll see.
