I'd love to have Suh, but I wouldn't care if they didn't sign him as well. DL is probably the last place we need help. He would make that group really good though. Marks is going to be coming off an ACL and will probably miss the start of the season. Roy Miller is having knee surgery as well, but he should be ok for week 1.

I forgot Sen'derrick tore his knee up. Suh makes more sense in that context.

Never know about an ACL (see Geno Atkins). Good backup plan or a loaded D-Line if he heals ok.

Our DL is pretty deep. They rotate about 9ish guys on the DL every game day.

Obviously none of that depth is the caliber of Suh, which is why I wouldn't have a problem if we signed him. The guy is a flat out monster. The down side is he doesn't always use his brain on the football field.

TBH I don't know if he would even agree to play for JAC. He wants NY or some other large market last I heard.

Money talks I suppose and you guys have a lot of it to throw at him. When are you addressing receiver? I assume a FA look and then rounds 1 or 2?

We have 3 very promising rookie WRs, who set NFL records this season.

I'd assume we'll add a WR in FA. I believe they'd rather have a vet to go along with these 3 WRs, instead of another rookie. I do think we might pick up a WR in the mid rounds though, as this draft is deep with WRs again like last year. Round 1 or 2 is too high imo, unless a complete stud drops. I definitely don't see us taking Cooper #3 overall, that would be dumb.

On @SiriusXMNFL -- Caldwell says QB coach Frank Scelfo will be OC at Senior Bowl even if one is hired before then. #jaguars

Scelfo logical choice -- #Jaguars coaches get back to work Tuesday and have to start (or re-photo copy?) some kind of playbook for Sr. Bowl.

Drafted 4 players they coached last year at the Senior Bowl. Colvin, Linder, Telvin and Chris Smith.

They also signed 3 UDFAs that they coached at the SB.

Didn't like two of those rookies crash later in the season?

But yeah you would be a fool to draft a receiver that high. I don't think receivers should really be taken in the top ten, TBH.
