Gannon is exactly right. At some point someone has to stand up and own it and do something.

Right or wrong all he's doing is putting the team down further and for a team he says lacks leadership and confidence that's not how u help that.

Can't go down much from where we are. Delusion won't help the situation. We need to wake the fuck up and do something about the situation. This is year 12. I'm sick of losing. Someone needs to stand up and say what needs to be said, and Gannon did that. Now the ball is in the court of the Oakland organization.

Yea but all Gannon did was run his mouth. He's not stepping up to do any actual constructive work with the team. Again I love the man as much as any raider fan but in this situation he's just radio host talking shit. Step up or step off man. Nn beating us even more while we r down. U really think the players didn't already know what he had to say? All he did was make us look worse. That's our goat(of recent memories) talking shit on us. Doesn't help the cause

Someone has to admit it. If nobody in the organization will admit the problem, someone outside of it needs to do so. Clearly nobody inside has done that, so Gannon did.

Gannon's job isn't to be a PR rep for Oakland. His job is to analyze and talk about the NFL. And he's doing that there. He has done nothing wrong in this instance. Oakland needs to wake the fuck up and stop feeling sorry for itself and covering its eyes to the problem. The Raiders need to take a long hard look at themselves and figure out what the fuck is wrong. Even Woodson knows everything is fucked royally, but he's not going to be there long enough to be that leader we need. Carr shows promise, and so I look forward to our next few seasons...but right now we're the worst team in the NFL by a good margin and trying to cover our ears and eyes to the problem doesn't make it any less true.

It would be different if this wasnt the 20th time he has shit on the team. Omega is right. If he has a problem with it and wants it fixed go coach them. Go help them do something. He could be a great mentor to Carr.

So... What he said is correct, but how he is going about it is not the correct way.

He is not obligated to the team.

So Carr appears to be questionable to play after his knee/ankle injury. Better to start him or sit him?
