To my computer buzzins:

So I bought an SSD, but in order to place it in my build and still keep the old HDD, I had to move my GPU (the wires would not fit if the GPU was in it's old location).

I have successfully installed the SSD and have transferred all of my files over to it, however - my GPU is not being recognized now that it is in a new slot (I have this MOBO: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813130269). I have tried figuring out why that may be through google/other tech forums, but I cannot find the answer.

Based on this: , I currently have it in the blue slot to the left of 890GXM-G65 ("NEW"). It used to be in the blue slot to the right of the 890GXM-G65 (right above the msi text, "OLD") .

Can you figure any reason it may not work, or what I may have to do to be recognized again? The fan turns on, and everything is properly plugged in... I'm lost -_-

edit: to make it slightly more fascinating... I have two monitors and a TV hooked up to the GPU, which the computer is telling me is not recognized... and yet, one of the monitors is working right now (it has been working this whole time). The other ones do not work, however. I am not sure if this would help, but I thought it was curious

You clearly forgot to format your terabytes into the server.

I have no idea what I'm looking at in that picture and knew I'd be no help but I chose to post anyway. I'll be going now.

Off the top of my head I don't know why they wouldn't work but if you still have your mobo manual, check to make sure both slots are the same (I'm assuming 16x)

Also I'm not sure I understand what necessitates this. What wires? The power or the sata to the ssd/hdd or?

The manual say they are both 16x, but after a good google search, I found: https://forum-en.msi.com/index.php?topic=139584.0

Fucking MSI not mentioning that in their manual... rofl
