Cool, they can be really cap-efficient as they go 2-14 again next year.

How's it gonna feel when we end your guy's playoff hopes this weekend?

How's it going to feel when the Jags win the SB sometime in the next 20 years?

See, I can ask ridiculous, unrealistic questions too.

A ridiculous, unrealistic question would be more like, how are you going to feel when Bortles throws for 500 yards and 4 TDs this weekend?

Asking how you guys are gonna feel after the Jags beat you this weekend is anything but ridiculous and unrealistic.

I was reading that some fans in the Jags fanbase are looking upon Cyprien as a disappointment, which I found interesting because Elam was picked just ahead of him and he's an abject bust.

I know you were excited about him though. Has he regressed this season at all?

He has definitely been somewhat of a disappointment this season. A lot of people were hoping for a step up from year 1, but it does seem as if he has regressed some. A good amount of missed tackles, due to a lot of bad angles. He doesn't have any Forced fumbles, INTs, Sacks or Fumble recoveries. I'm hoping it's just a Sophomore slump.

We need to upgrade the FS position though. Cyp is best when he can roam up around the box. Hes played both FS and SS this year. They've had him in a lot of Cover 2 and they've played him at the Single High in Cover 3 a good bit. Both Cyp and Josh Evans (our FS) are best suited at SS imo. We still don't have a true FS on this team and it has to be addressed this FA or Draft.

Honestly I'd like to see them give Aaron Colvin a shot at FS, but hes played 3 games now since coming off the ACL. He is already arguably our best CB. He's currently our Nickle CB.

It sounds like what I was saying about Elam, that they're playing him out of position as a coverage safety and not a SS lol

Making a tackle in coverage is a lot different than making a tackle in the box. Taking bad angles is a product of that, I think.

Oh it's definitely different playing in the box and playing in coverage when going in for a tackle. Cyp's biggest issue right now imo, is over pursuing and taking bad angles. Both add up to a lot of missed tackles.

PFF has him listed at 18 missed tackles. That's 1 behind Ryan Clark and tied with Vaccaro for 2nd most among Safeties.
