I'm not sure what this coaching staff is trying to do with Bortles, but this is becoming pathetic. He has seemed to regress more and more in each game these past few weeks. Its clear the coaching staff doesn't trust him, by the joke ass Offensive play calling. It was hard to tell if that was actually Bortles out on the field and not Henne yesterday.

Bradley should have stuck to his guns and kept Henne in there as the punching bag once he was healthy enough to return. Their playcalling seemed to disallow him from passing downfield or something when I watched Bortles.

Naw, Bortles starting and playing now is the right thing, but the play calling this past week was beyond terrible and we have to see what Bortles can do sooner rather than later.

Bortles had like 15 throws in the 1st half iirc and only 2 or 3 of them were to a WR. It's all run on 1st down and lose 2 yards. Run on 2nd down and gain 3 yards. Then it's, ok Bortles go make a play on 3rd and 9 with a 5-7 man blitz coming. Which usually ended in a check down for 5 yards or a sack. I literally felt like I was watching the Henne/Gabbert show from 2 seasons ago. It was fucking pathetic.

The Jags have given up the 3rd most sacks @21. Why risk giving your future QB David Carr syndrome when you're getting a top-2 pick anyway. Plus you'll have stupid impatient fans booing him when it's not even his fault.

10 sacks in one game with Henne at QB skew those numbers big time.

#Jaguars waive WR Mike Brown and promote WR Tommy Streeter from practice squad.

Wow, this team is on the rise.

Sidenote: there is an 85% public lean on the Giants > Jags this week. Vegas really cleans house with an 85+ lean on one side. You guys might be winning this one.

best case, we could win 3 of our remaining games this season. This Giants game is winnable, the Titans game and possibly one of the Texans game.

That would be the absolute best case though imo. We probably wont win any of them.
