Suspended Jaguars receiver Justin Blackmon pleaded no contest today to one misdemeanor count of marijuana possession in Edmond, Okla., according to The Daily Oklahoman newspaper.

Blackmon was present in court and told judge Diane Slayton he had recently completed a voluntary drug rehabilitation program.

Blackmon, who has been suspended by the NFL since November 2013 for violating the substance abuse policy, was arrested during a July 23 traffic stop and police confiscated three grams of marijuana.

According to the Oklahoman, the marijuana charge will be dropped to a misdemeanor count of disorderly conduct if Blackmon does not commit any crimes in the next six months.

After the hearing, the media couldn’t find Blackmon for contact, but his attorney, Robert Gray, told the Oklahoman: “I don’t anticipate [Blackmon] will have any problems. He’s going back to training and hopefully looks forward to reinstatement.”

Honestly, despite the shit-talking we had the other day, it seems you should be hoping to lose out and get that #1 overall. Getting 2 or 3 firsts and a couple 2nd rounders could really fill out your roster.

Somebody is going to fall in love with Jameis, or possibly Mariota. I mean, the Bills traded 2 firsts and a 4th for Watkins when they're not even postseason contenders.

Plus it helps that next year's QB draft class will be headlined by mediocre prospects like Connor Cook and that kid from PSU.
