Pierce has never been any good and Forsett is a 8th year Vet. I'd hope he'd know who to pick up on blitzes, otherwise he probably still wouldn't be around.
Don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to dog out Forsett, but honestly he isn't anything close to special. He's what you call a stop gap player. There's a reason why he has bounced around multiple different teams.
Pierce was a stud #2 in our SB year. I think he had better numbers per attempt than Ray Rice IIRC.
Obviously Forsett is nobody's franchise at halfback, but he's a solid player for now, and probably even a better mentor in the next few years for whoever we go with long term.

I'm usually against taking a RB in the first, but if Gurley or Gordon are sitting there, I might have to ignore our dire need at WR and CB and pray for one of them
Gordon would be so damn good in this ZBS (if Kubiak is even still around as our OC)
IDK man, RB's are pretty easy to come by (relatively, anyway). I think CB is a much bigger need. We really have NOBODY outside Jimmy Smith.
I wouldn't be too upset with Gurley, though.
