So I'm stressing a bit guys and I could use some advice. My boss informed me on Friday that Monday would be her last day working until the 2nd. This is a very small business and it's just her and I. Without her around my work is very limited as I'm not qualified to write most of the medical reports she does. She ran out the door on Friday without paying me for the previous weeks because she was in a hurry and couldn't be bothered. Now it's 11:05 and she still hasn't shown up, I've sent her a text and tried to call with no response. It looks as though I'm going to be out of work for the next two weeks (not a single paid day ofc) and I'm flat fucking broke as I didn't get paid for my previous two weeks either. I'm just really fucking fed up right now and I'm not sure what I should do, any suggestions would be helpful. I've been working in the legal/medical field for about two years now but I have no formal education so applying for new jobs in the same field is extremely difficult and I just can't fucking go back to retail.

Sorry for the rant. I'm just stressing and a little overwhelmed at the moment, especially with the holidays and all.

Honestly try to move laterally to a company around the same size but with better management? The pay could be very similar and the work should be the same.

In my very limited post college (not walmart type jobs) job hunting I always noticed the smaller less high profile companies were much more willing to work with experience over college.

For what? Being negligent, not really worth it. Rich people just don't give a shit about "the help".



One of the main concerns is that I'm planning to move back to Wa sometime in September. I'm a bit of an asshole but an honest one and I'd hate to have a new company take me on, train me and then leave after a few months. It's just a clusterfuck man.

Look into staffing agencies...their job is to find you a job. With your experience in that field I'm sure they can help you rather easily.

I would leave to make a point, but with the position youre in its pretty hard. But its christmas time and a bitch that leave you money less now isnt the type I would stick around with.





This is a good idea. That way they know you wont be around for after a while.
