i wasnt expecting a win last night, i wasnt even expecting a good game from freeman. but to witness the worst game by a viking QB ive ever seen left me shocked.

i dont know how many more ways this team can shock me when i expect nothing from them.

freeman threw the ball 53 times and AD ran it 12? are you fucking kidding me? the game wasnt ever really that much out of reach(until midway through the 4th). there is no reason for this. The WHOLE coaching staff needs to go.

i listened to vikings fan line after the game and alot of people brought up the question on wether ponder should have been brought back in, which is just plain stupid. ponder isnt the answer, cassel isnt the answer. Freeman appears not to be either. But this season is a lost cause and there is no point in benching freeman. This is his 11 game tryout. there are no other options.

Our offensive line is absolutely horrific (yea the same one that helped AD come within 9 yards of the record last year)
Our secondary is pathetic and our ONLY good player (harrison) is on IR
These linebackers shouldnt be starters but we have no other options.
The Defensive Line has star power that is massively underperforming.
AD isnt himself, and appears to be suffering from the 2k curse.
the WR core has potential but no QB to get them the ball (unless they could grow 4 feet)
for whatever reason our biggest offensive threat(potentially) cordarelle cant find his way on to the field.

i cant wait to blow this team up.
i still believe in trading away AD (i still think we could get a 1st, 2nd, and future 1st)

and after we go 1-15 this year (i dare you to find us a win on our remaining schedule) we will at least get to pick mariota or bridgewater

I Can't wait to be able to call Mariota or Bridgewater our starting QB, Finally a QB with star power for AP he deserves that we haven't had since Farve for one year and honestly haven't since the Prime Culpepper in early 2000s, there are plenty of holes to fix like Guards and maybe another safety but as bad as we have looked, there is always hope to turn it around in a year or two, I honestly do not believe talent wise we are necessarily as bad as our record holds, but coaching staff and less than mediocre QB play is holding us back tremendiously. With mariota or bridgewater we could be a playoff team again....and once musgrave is fired

idk if anyone else noticed but when gruden was talking about how musgrave had his tiny playbook card he was like "yaaaa that thing is usually a lot bigger but he had to shorten it up because Freeman doesn't know that many plays yet" I am sure I am not the only one that was like no gruden you idiot....thats Musgraves actual playbook he only callls 5 different plays

I don't know about our defense, last year it was decent and this year it just has so many holes, and it's only going to get worse once Jared and Kwill leave. It'll be a lot to fix.

But I agree, first and foremost we NEED a game changing QB to build around

probably old but a few fun facts about freeman's game.

Freeman was only the 2nd QB since 1950 to throw at least 50 times in a game and not have either 200+ yards or a TD

He had the worst completetion % at 37.5 since 2007

They have been keeping track of "overthrown balls" since 2005, and freeman had the most in a single game with 16

you were soo excited about him too he is awful an no matter that he didn't have the preperation needed his accuracy had nothing to do with any of that, over throwing receivers by 10 yards is just plain awful.

But I dont know if i agree about defense being terrible, Griffen and Robinson will be really good DEs and Flloyd is looking like a beast on the inside. Cook and Rhodes have played very well at Corner Robinson is playing poorly and our LBs are weak besides greenway. So essentially we need 1 more Good DT and a solid MLB would be nice and maybe another safety

Dam, and he's the starter for the next week.
