Well onto the draft boys.

I'll do my best to post up some relevant info. this off-season.

I've finally started scoping out some mock drafts. I am kinda hoping we nab Eddie Lacey (Alabama RB if you don't follow CFB) if he falls to us.

Sigh... not a single point the second half...

The two plays that really irritate me was the fumble by Ryan in the redzone... it was a clean snap... was atrocious...

The second was the "roughing the passer" call on Nicholas... if that wasn't the biggest crock of shit I have ever seen.... that lead to 7 too, that should have been taken off the board.

We did get the catch to Douglas that was reviewed, and was probably not a ctach, but that didn't lead to anything anyways....

Hopefully Tony G comes back

harry had a clean run to the endzone though if he hadn't been bitten by the turf monster :(

i agree though, the ryan fumble was tough to watch although luckily they missed the fg after that and yes, the roughing the passer was a joke call, especially considering when Ryan got hit on our final (technically 2nd to last) drive his helmet was the first thing they hit and there was nothing called

i was also pretty shocked there wasn't a defensive holding or roughing call on roddy to end it, but either way SF played well in the 2nd half so can't be too upset with how it ended

Decoud had some missed tackles on Davis (i know he's hard to bring down but that's what you're paid to do) that hurt too

A most valiant effort, I thought that game was gonna be a goodun.

Tony G, I will miss you but also be very happy you are not in our division anymore xD

Idk... did you see that catch by Coffman against the Seahawks?... Tony G 2.0?

A guy can wish.... Ryan relies on Tony in the endzone A LOT.... I think picking up a proven TE in FA might be our best option imo.

Our O-line played OUTSTANDING this year compared to the last... well... our running game could have been better, but in pass protection it was a 180.

I agree with bringing Baker back... he had a much improved season.

Moves I would make:
Resign Baker/Reynolds/Palmer/McClure
Consider cutting Turner or having him take a paycut

Baker played much better this year and will most likely want 4 mil/year, Reynolds adds good depth imo, Palmer is a great blocking TE for goalline situations, and McClure is the vet of the bunch. (If we can get them cheaper ofc).

Defense is a whole new ballbark. . Just a few quick notes. I can go into more detail on D later.
Moore has to be our #1 priority this offseason.
Robinson is under contract and guaranteed his signing bonus PLUS 3 mil of his 7 base pay, so I don't see him going anywhere.
See if Grimes will come back for a cheap contract after his injury (probably not)

I think most of our draft picks need to be on D... But i wouldn't mind spending one high pick on a guard. As Konz did struggle against power rushers during the season. think he fits best at center?
