Giants being decimated with fucking injuries all of a sudden...

Now Barden is out for the season

Diehl & Ohara aren't coming back for 3-4 weeks

Steve Smith is out another 1-2 weeks...

Kiwi is on IR
Hixon IR
Koets is on IR
Barden IR
Victor Cruz IR(who we could really use right now...)

Was just about to come post how Barden's done for the season.

Yeah, our offense is getting raped... If Nicks and Manningham can stop dropping passes we really shouldn't miss a third receiver that much.

Our running game is going to suffer from our oline woes. Not to mention that Eli is getting pressured so much quicker now...

Trent Cole is going to have a field day next week... If the eagles come out dominant tonight and our dline can't get to vick (if they had trouble getting to Kitna just imagine how free Vick will feel) we may get slaughtered

You're overreacting considerably.. that team that got smoked by Dallas is not our team.

We may we decimated by injuries right now but we will make it work with a great week of preparation and game execution.

Our defense was atrocious and we had zero injuries on D. The game plan was terrible.. Fewell made no adjustments and we got burned badly. Thomas got no help with Dez was single coverage all night. the safety play was terrible when we were in a cover 2 no safety help came over the top which led to 2 easy scoring drives.

The O-Line till have a week to get familiar with the guy next to them.

I'm not worried that much.

ESPN article on Shawn Andrews:

"It’s really tough because I think about how far I’ve come," Andrews said. "Early on in my rehabbing process, especially after my second surgery, I just recall the pain that I was in, that I don’t want to feel this way anymore. I could have easily hung it up, went fishing in Arkansas, and just kicked my feet back. I know I have a lot of great football left in me, and I have a second chance with a phenomenal organization. I feel like I owe it to these guys. If I have to be carried off the field, for these guys, I respect them so much that I’m doing everything in my power."

When asked if he would play if he had to, he responded:

"For my G-Men, hell yeah I would," Andrews said. "I don't harp on the bad. I used to let the bad and negative things get to me, but I'm in such a different place in my life right now and I've had my share of humble pies, literally and figuratively."

This guy loves being a Giant...

As soon as he got here he could tell he was "home". That's saying a lot considering how long he was with Philly.

All the Giants have to do is make the playoffs.. the record essentially means nothing.

Just have to withstand these injuries till we get some guys back. Hopefully that's sooner then later.

Looks like Shawn Andrews is done for the season. If not, he probably will be after his first game back.

Sigh...

Can't say that if anything he'll miss a few games but even that is premature. Diehl is coming back possibly this week & Beatty is back so hopfully Beatty can be what we thought he would be early on.
