i think the boat has already sailed on those dreams. hard to imagine the packers being competitive with a high-caliber team the way they have been struggling at simple execution on the o line, so many penalties. barclay did what he could tho

if i don't recall we had some of the same issues the 2010 year and barely made it to the playoffs then took the super bowl obv. we did go on a hot streak at the end of that year but our playoff hopes look really good still being tied with the bears for top spot of the division. Once we're in the playoffs our experience will help us get the wins we need, anything can happen.

yeah dude i live in wisconsin, trust me, i recall. that defense was much more potent and thats when we saw the emergence of Tramon and Shields... especially in the post-season. not to mention starks came from no where to give us a rushing attack in the playoffs. different circumstances, but i have faith that the pack will seal their fate and get in. and like you said, once they're in, anything can happen

the biggest difference i notice in defense from this year to last is simply more turn overs thus resulting in less yards and better statistics, they still gave up the same embarrassing wide open plays they have been for the past few years. this year i've watched the emergence of Casey Hayward, which as far as i can tell, will be our top cover db in time to come. i think a lot of the run issues we experienced is due to losing Atari Bigby(spelling) which was a great run stop safety, as seen on the Texans. Burnette who played well for us last night also is performing well under the circumstances. they're our future and i look forward to watching them because they are a YOUNG group being taught by one of the bests corners to play the game. it's simply time for us to draft linemen on both sides of the ball.

well that is just how MM and TT operate. depth and strength through drafting. always been that way. like i said, people get hurt and we typically have people step up to fill the roles, but the fight in the trenches is what i'm worried about. we have grown to count of depth in the secondary and in most positions, but losing fire power on both sides of the line is what will dictate how well we do in the playoffs
