I'm a firm believer that you can't play press coverage in this league when you're not generating pressure. I think Capers realized that and game planned to struggle to create pressure on its own (as opposed to creating it off of tight coverage). I'm not too worried. Obviously last night was much more lopsided than I expected, but we knew it would be tough to go in and beat that team off a bye week when they were due to explode, especially with all our injuries. Just need to get healthy.
yeah you're right, but this seems to be working out worse. at least we generated more turn overs in bump...i kinda like the idea of sticking to the style we're used to.
