if you mean by "lose/lose" that the NFL has already done permanent damage by dragging brady's name through the mud than yes i agree, BUT if Brady/NFLPA wins the case it's certainly not a loss for Brady... It's a loss for the patriots for Kraft not fighting the team penalty
let is rest? it won't "rest" til this is resolved lol...
This. It's not as though AmineA is dragging out this process lol. Most of us are still hoping we have our QB to start the season, I don't know why that's so unreasonable.

Patriot fans think brady has any leverage after breaking his cell phone LMAOOOOOOOOOO
Yep, kinda seems like he does. Seeing as there's no definitive evidence against him. Goodell can make rulings off his own bias, we gave him that power, but that kind of shit isn't going to fly in a real court and will work against him. Maybe more shit will surface but Goodell's case is looking weak as fuck for the time being, and that would without a doubt, give Brady some leverage... I'm not exactly sure why you're having trouble with that concept.
Do I think Brady had no knowledge of the practices that went on regarding the footballs? Fuck no, you'd have to be a complete idiot to think that any QB in the NFL doesn't have at least some control/knowledge over the balls they receive. However, opposing counsel doesn't have the evidence to prove that he actually told someone to deflate footballs under the minimum PSI level. That topped off by the fact that the officials didn't bother recording what PSI levels the balls were at before the game started, only makes the NFL look bad, and leaves open speculation that the balls could have been under the required PSI level from the get-go, meaning the fault could potentially be on the officials, and not the Patriots. It just shouldn't be very hard for Brady's camp to point that out, and then move into discrediting Goodell's ruling as nothing more than bias.
I've said it before and I'll say it again. I think Brady had general knowledge that balls were being under-inflated, as that's his personal preference. I don't think it had an impact on the game, but that's completely irrelevant. Had the balls been deflated further after the original PSI check, with instruction from Brady, he deserves to be punished, and I do believe four games for that is fair. However, you can't punish someone without actual evidence. It shows bias and weakness to let your emotions dictate your rulings, which is where Goodell fucked up. Unless something else surfaces, he's going to get embarrassed in court. Destroying his phone isn't a factor the judge can take into consideration, it was within his legal rights to do so. You'd have to be a complete idiot to think that action will be the deciding factor in this case.
