what makes us look mediocre? the fact that we arent running up the scoreboard with a 2 score lead?

its just how our team is, if we are up we play a control tempo unlike some other teams that just pad their stats.

Maybe I'm just ignorant about football in general, but why would you NOT run up the scoreboard given the option to do so?

I just don't want to get on the hype train when I feel like it's about to derail big time.

You surely won't deny that all games with the exception of the jags were close and could have gone the other way?

Bro we've looked mediocre vs some garbage teams. Our opponents up til now have a combined record of 5-15, and I didn't think we looked "strong" in a single one of those games.

We could have easily lost to the saints if norman wasn't so clutch.

do us a favor and pick another team to cheer for....

the panthers have never been known to murder people in points like the patriots, or cardinals. winning is winning, by a point or 10 touchdowns.

Whoa.

I'm more than happy with how they're doing so far. Sorry if I somehow offended.

Yeah our games have been pretty close, and i'm sure if we had tried to run the scoreboard up we could have even lost those games. With the plays we use while ahead we run a lot of time off of the clock. Time that would still be on the clock if we were trying to run up the score and time that our opponents could use to beat us.

Not sure if you've ever played card games or not, but in most games there are varying types of play. Two of the more dominant strategies are Beatdown, where you just build up your offense and pound them into oblivion, and control, where you limit what you allow your opponent to do.

We are definitely a control type of team, not saying we can't beatdown the opponents, but its just not what our strategy is.

the last 2 games, our coaches have switched our personnel in and out greatly. tre boston coming in for kurt coleman, david mayo in for like thomas davis and such. that's why in the Tampa bay game, jackson picked up nearly 100 yards in like the 3/4 quarters. coach ron said he wants to see all his players get game time, so they know who to turn to in those critical moments. we are like denver this year lol....
