First off this fucking home crowd shit is BULLSHIT. All game t hey don't make a fucking sound.

Dez bryant i can't express how mad i am at the cowboys for actually giving you irvins number.

Our defensive line was a complete embarassment and showed that the 3 starters we are missing are a big thing.

When will rob ryan learn to double up on marshall.

Sean Lee is the only defensive bright spot tonight.

romo 5 ints
bears crushed us

romo 2 pick 6's...

one was a miscommunication on a hot route by dez.... 30 yard pick 6 or somethin
then romo shuffle passes it to witten... i mean briggs who brings it back

that makes it a 17 point game....

we drive... throw another int

then cutler gets stripped by dware

then we give up another int (i think the pick 6?) i dont know. i dont want to remember this game

the bears deserved the win. their run defense was stout and held up while their D piled on the points

brandon marshall was too much to handle.

can't call a balanced game if youre down 17....

great @#$^%ing time for a bye week

time for some cowboys talk...

I think we match up well against the ravens on both sides of the ball

the ravens seem to operate at their best in two wide receiver sets. our defense matches up well against teams like that. Giants (cruz nicks) bucs (vjax, ??)
I like carr on Q and Mo on Torrey. Torrey is a burner and i expect #43 to give mo help over the top as a priority in most play action settings as i think our front 7 should be able to contain the run.

the ravens also have a smaller, though elite RB in ray rice. I think we can contain him much more handily in the way we did doug martin and ahmad bradshaw.
our problems in against the running game stem from true power tailbacks like jacobs, lynch, blount, etc

flacco will take sacks and possibly fumble the rock against our rejuvenated pass rush. Ratliff, Coleman, Spencer are all back after missing the CHI game.
whether or not he turns it over will largely be dependent on how our coverage holds up over the top and how he decides to manage the passing game.

the ravens tight end could have a big game for them

the cowboys offense vs the legendary ravens D.

the ravens pass rush. how is it? no T Sizzle may have a large impact. he is their premier pass rusher and one of the best in the game.
I think our tackles will hold up in the edge rush and the middle blitzes just aren't as dominant for the ravens as they once were. they are getting older and slower on D.
a big match up will be Haloti Ngata against whoever we have at center. likely phil costa as cook seems to be Questionable for the start. as long as we get the snaps off i think we will be fine.
if we can keep romo upright, i like our chances very much in this match up.

Miles and Dez vs their corners and secondary
jimmy smith is supposedly a focus press corner, which i don't find particularly daunting no matter who he covers. Miles will slip by and i think dez is determined and pissed. Dez will find pay dirt this game, you can take that to the bank.

which ed reed will we see? will he make an impact on a seemingly turnover prone #9? I think Romo knows to avoid him and he will limit his mistakes this game.

now comes the enigma of the dallas running attack.
140 yards week 1 vs the giants in NY and now we sit averaging less than 68 YPG on the ground.

let me ramble on that for a second.
you have to look at our games to see why we haven't been running the ball.
seattle we went down 13 points and never were able to run it or even call runs the way we wanted to.
bucs defense got a hell of alot of penetration, an abnormal amount. more than the seahawks and the bears from my recollection.
the bears... well... when you turn it over, you can't run the ball, let alone call plays on offense when you don't have the ball! lol

now... how do we attack the ravens D with our running game? where are our strengths and what is their weakness?
i don't expect to see a lot of singleback run plays running into the teeth of the ultra aware ray lewis. especially draw or stretch plays that can be blown up by a diagnoising #52.
i believe we need to send vickers and hit ray and their LBers/edge contain guys in the mouth and let demarco take the edge or get to the second level between the tackles.

demarco will get his touches in the pass game, mostly on singleback swings and checks, though i think we may finally see some designed screen passes to him with blockers in front from multiple sets and formations, several times

I think DM will have to grind it out along with our passing game making big plays and our defense playing stout against the pass and not allowing ray rice to get going.

It kills me the way we lose.

Our secondary can't cause turnovers.
How do we lose when rushing for 220+ yards -_-
