I think it's August 12th we'll know more as to whether or not there will be a settlement (the night before the first preseason game). I like our chances if Brady doesn't decide to take a settlement. I'd be 100% perfectly fine with him taking a medium/large fine (which supposedly is just a donation to charity) and starting week 1 if that could happen and not go to court I think it's a win/win for both sides (win for the NFL/goodell for not getting further embarrassed in a REAL court of law)

I just don't think Goodell will settle for a fine. We all know it would be fucking nothing for Brady, Goodell doesn't want to look weak in front of the entire NFL right now. We'll see. I think we're headed to court though, hopefully the judge has the decency to delay the suspension until a ruling is made.

tbh i think it would be a better decision to get the suspension early in the season and done asap

Looking at the schedule, I'm much more worried about the start of the season lol. Personal opinion I guess, I'd rather be up when he goes out, instead of Brady coming in to try and fix a 2n2 to 0n4. That's just one man's opinion though.

If goodell doesm't settle for a fine he will go to court and lose its that simple. The judge for this case is apparently known for trying to get things settled outside of court so he will be pissed if goodell doesnt settle to bradys terms. Bradys got more leverage than ever after the 100+ page release of the hearing

if you mean by "lose/lose" that the NFL has already done permanent damage by dragging brady's name through the mud than yes i agree, BUT if Brady/NFLPA wins the case it's certainly not a loss for Brady... It's a loss for the patriots for Kraft not fighting the team penalty
