OC and DC prob. Replacing Jim would hurt a lot.
It really bugs me when Lions fans call out for replacing Jim Schwartz. The success we are having with him is far greater than we have had for a while. I also think that Lions fans seem to forget the team that Mayhew and Schwartz were given from Millen and Marinelli. Not only did we not have starters... but we didn't have back ups. I believe earlier this fall I heard only 3 lions were the same since Millen. That is ridic. We are finally building depth. We are building a team. Yes, it is not pretty. Yes, we have things to work on. But when you bring in a new Head Coach that means a new scheme. A new Head Coach wants to bring in players that THEY want., not build off of what the old HC/GM built off of (see Trent Richardson). That means the Lions will go back to rebuilding. That means we will have years of a new team "coming up".
I honestly do not see the lions problems as something wrong with the organization --every game seems full of many freak accidents. It's like you're on this smooth roller coaster that all of a sudden goes backwards and through loops through a black hole.
My biggest disappointment was when stafford tried scooping an already fumbled ball up out of the snow rather than jumping on it. He could barely manage the snaps much less scoop the ball out of the snow with one hand.
