Jimmy didn't wait till he retired to start partying, he always partied (he loves his coke). There was a whole lot of talk that he retired when he did, because he was going to be facing a year long suspension for substance abuse. There's really no other reason why a guy would just up and retire after a 70 catch, 1k+ yard season.

That is true, but he only was supsended once for four games once prior to his pending year long suspension? i smoked alot of weed in those days so my memory is a bit vivid.
The funny thing is tho when he was pulled over the cop that took him to jail and arrested him has a obsesion with jimmmy smith merchendise he drove around in a squad car with a jimmy smith bobblehead.. I actually went to jail over some stupid shit and he was the arresting officer and we had a discussion about it. Its a small world lmao but anyways yea he is in prison now i beleive could be wrong tho i dont remember. News from jax or any jags news doesnt make it even close to this far west.. Matter fact this is the first time since i was in JAX that i actually see anything about the jags on TV and its only because of our draft choice and with how bortles has been playing lol
