goddamn it. all the other positions and the injuries were difficult but there was depth and talent at those positions. but the o-line was healthy and that allowed rodgers to keep us in every game... until today. this is a very, very bad day :(

We should be alright with Lang at Tackle and EDS at guard. A full week of practice at tackle will give Lang all the prep time he needs.

McCarthy said he found Bulaga in the weight room working out this morning. Apparently he's really unhappy with the doctors and wants to play, but MM and co. decided to value his long term health over this season. He'll get final word on surgery in about four weeks.

Matthews went through tougher rehab today than he's been doing. We'll get a real update on him Wednesday.

Didn't see anything about Kuhn and not much about Perry.

yeah... not going to make a 2010 Packers reference here, but its starting to look like that. just like before, younger talent is emerging but the breaking point can't be far away. that being said, the rest of the league is hurting too, just not so much in our division. feel free to correct me if i am mistaken though

Nah, there's a lot of banged up teams. And you can make the connection to that team. I thought the Colts were a trap game the entire week before that game (I think I said it in this thread too), and as soon as that game was over, there were plenty of comparisons made to the 2010 squad. I'm a lot less worried about the injuries than I would be if this was the type of team that relied on signing big FAs to compete, but there is a point where the injuries need to stop. Dropping two starters to IR during the bye week is not what I wanted to see.

well that's what i said, plenty of teams in dire situations... just not so much in the NFC North.

ugh yeah... bad enough i had to spend a sunday not watching the packers but to find out 2 players are done for the regular season when the team was supposed to be getting healthy was most infuriating.

and you are correct, FA signing is not how TT + MM operate. they build from the draft and get strength from within... problem is it's starting to get thin within the packer locker room these days

Holy... shit... Didn't know all this stuff was happening. Really pretty sad we don't get to see Perry this year and tough loss with Bulaga.

Next man up!
