ryan do you know when the comp picks are going to be announced? i know we should get one for mario, brisiel, and I believe jason allen as well.

a lot of positions to address in the draft. brook reed is staying at OLB since barwin left to philly.

ILB, WR, NT, OLB, S, TE, FB, G/T

I would love to get Margus Hunt, but DE is not a need at the moment.

I think in two weeks.

We re-signed Brice McCain. 3 years, $5.5M. Great deal, 4 years would've been nicer, but McCain is a solid player regardless.

Joseph top 3-5 CB, KJ is a solid corner, Brice McCain, arguably the best nickel corner, and Harris with experience should turn into a nice player. Hopefully we'll get Ed Reed, and draft a safety since Manning will be a FA in 2015, and Ed Reed will probably retire in 2015 or 2016.

Draft picks.

First round, 27th overall
Second round, 57th overall
Third round, 89th overall
Third round, 95th overall*
Fourth round, 124th overall
Fifth round, 160th overall
Sixth round, 195th overall
Sixth round, 201st overall*
Seventh round, 233rd overall

I think we'll go WR in the 1st, ILB with our 2nd, S and OLB with our 3rds, TE with our 4th, NT/other depth with rest.

Ed Reed is on verge of joining the Houston Texans, as @JasonLaCanfora has reported. Still ironing out deal. Texans officials now in air.

Texans agreed to terms with S Ed Reed, formerly of the Ravens.

Terms have yet to be announced, but CBS' Jason La Canfora "wouldn't be surprised at all" if Reed gets close to $6 million per season. If that's the case, he'll be one of the lone free agents to actually get near what he was asking for this offseason. Reed is an ideal replacement for Glover Quin, and adds an edge to a defense that let itself get pushed around down the stretch last season. Along with Chicago's Brian Urlacher, Reed is the second defensive icon to move on from the only team he's ever known in the past hour.

Ed Reed's cap hit is only $3.33M this year, $5.33M next year, and $6.33M in 2015. Wouldn't surprise me one bit if he stays all 3 seasons.

JJ Watt's highlights, has all the sacks and swats.

FB Greg Jones to Texans for 1 year. Wasn't too long ago when people said he was on the same level as Vonta Leach.

3rd fullback in 3 years since Vonta left for Baltimore. Lawrence Vickers, James Casey, and Greg Jones. Hopefully he'll play well enough to get a 2nd contract. Getting tired of having different fullbacks every year.

The last time I saw a Texans fullback with a good lead block was Vonta Leach. LOL, it's been a while.
