I hope to be able to eat again by thanksgiving, this shit made me sick to my stomach. We can't beat a playoff caliber team the way we have been playing even if we get in.

this is my thinking for the pack. crash agrees as well. no point in scavenging wins for the playoffs because we wont go anywhere with our shit defense and red zone woes

Wow...So even after we kick the shit out of ourselves---not only do our playoff hopes look more alive--it looks like Our first round opponent would potentially be the Cardinals? rofl wut--We just need to have a record equal or better than the cowboys and win NFC north to make this happen! :)

They already beat us early this season too, better them than the saints I suppose.

Our red zone defense is the only defense that steps up for us. Thats the only saving grace for us, we have held a lot of teams to fgs this season. Our offense seems to stall in the red zone this year, Id rather be 40 yards out than 20, we seem to be able to complete 40 yard passes but not 10 yard passes for some reason. Stafford needs to protect the ball better for us to do anything in the playoffs.

Our run defense is also like top 5 in terms of yards and in 7th in terms of TDs.

We've lost to a lot of teams we shouldn't have lost to though--if we can pull ourselves together by playoff time we still have a shot--the way the packers and bears are playing we have a cushion I didn't expect to have starting the season

My whole issue is that with Cutler and Rodgers out for a month or so, we should have this division locked up

If Rodgers was playing theres a good chance GB is 8-3 or 9-2

Now we need a Chicago loss to have a 1.5 game lead on the division

A bears loss would be great--lions looked like a great team that makes too many mistakes today

When Kevin Ogletree pulled in a one-handed touchdown catch to complete the scoring with less than five minutes to play, the Lions held a 563-56 edge in total yards. 563-56! Reminder: This was a real game between two actual NFL franchises competing for victory.
