Not when we have Alex Smith throwing to him. Behind a top ten offensive line and T-Rich in the backfield.

...we think alike and all Browns fans should be praying they go for Smith and not Vick .

We won't end up with Vick. That just won't happen, our new owner won't take the gamble or his contract.

...my personal opinion is that the best option for Cleveland would be to try and wrest Ryan Mallett away from the Pats but since he is being groomed to replace Brady it probably won't happen .

Unless they want a first round pick, which I am assuming they will since he is better than the QB's in this draft.

Ryan Mallet would be pretty damn good in our system.
However, Weeden can be Cutler-esque given the right coaching scheme.
This years draft class is awful...

It's not terrible defensively and can fill some spots we will need. The biggest question is where the patriots value Mallett.

There are a lot of teams interested in him. It's going to be a off season full of rumors which is going to get old real quick..

"OK, Browns fans, for now take this simply as a rumor with at least some substance behind it, but The Sports Fix was told this morning that the Browns, Chiefs and 49ers were in talks in a 3 way trade which would send Alex Smith to Cleveland, Brandon Weeden to KC, and SF would net a future (not sure what years) 1st from KC, and a 2nd from Cleveland. I was told the deal is in place, and would be announced by next week at the latest if completed.

This came from someone who knows reps involved in the talks, so if nothing else, its at least in play... My guy said "Lombardi is moving fast" and Norv requested Smith as his guy, and KC specifically wants Weeden because he is already a year into the same system they are going to run. Take it for what its worth, but its definitely something to talk about...

(For clarity, we had also heard of a possible Colt McCoy and a future 2nd rd pick to SF straight up for Smith trade as well)"

The latest rumors.
