I don't attention to how long Prone get suspended for. Just seems like it's been longer than that. But once his suspension gets handed down, it'll be two years.

Plus, he played for the Texans.

Talk about being on drugs. The fuck does any of this post even mean?

And all the while, Mike Evans takes pay cut after pay cut after restructure after restructure to help his team, while being consistently one of the best in the league

I read this earlier and I couldn't tell you lol. I was either really drunk or trying to make it seem like I was on drugs. 🤷‍♂️🤣

Restructuring benefits the player by giving them more guaranteed money, so it's really not for the team, and saying otherwise is just disingenuous or misinformed

Kinda of good for both at that point, no?

It offers immediate cap relief for the team at the expense of less cap space in the future

But for the player there's absolutely no downside. They're getting more guaranteed money, and they're getting it immediately.

Big ben did the same thing his entire career, you want SB rings and go to the HoF, or do you want more money asap. Depends on what they prioritize more, cuz they gun git money either way. It's better to take pay cuts and less money to help the team, since it's the ultimate team sport. like gears of war 1 said " Pretend War " in the long run it's better to do what brady, evans, big ben, eli did, doing, have done. they do the same in the NBA. not baseball cuz theres no spending cap, thus yankee teams like the Rams, they prob get caught cheating on the paperwork done the road.

The notion that Brady is some team player for taking less money is another popular myth. Overlooking the way the Patriots circumvented the cap by contracting Brady's TB12 diet/fitness brand (or whatever it was), he actually was paid pretty close to his perceived value: https://www.reddit.com/r/nfl/comments/m1h382/a_deeper_look_into_the_mythology_of_the_tom_brady/
