Brown is basically the Tom Brady of the WR position. Both could be considered amazing draft picks but really both teams got lucky AF drafting them.

Yeah idk about Brown because the Steelers consistently draft WRs who perform much higher than expected, but Brady was more luck than anything

A HoFer and one of the best ever in the sixth is definitely lucky. I love Colbert but no one saw Brown being our number one WR let alone our greatest WR in franchise history.

You aren't wrong.

But Brown would have went before day 3 if they thought he was going to be a superstar. They might have saw potential in him but they didn't expect him to be more than a return man. That's why he didn't even start consistently until like his third year in the league.


Kevin Colbert's record as the Steelers GM is 188-99. Easily the most underrated GM in the entire league. Even his own fanbase doesn't give him enough recognition. He built a dynasty.
