So apparently the Bucs fired Lovie because the Dolphins wanted to interview OC Dirk Koetter as a potential head coach. They wanted to keep Koetter in the organization and to continue working with Jameis so they fired Lovie and is going to promote Koetter to become their next head coach.

I'm sure it had nothing to do with the fact that they lost 5 of their last 6 games when they were in the middle of a playoff race.

They're still a young team on the rise and that's not a good enough reason to fire him considering he's making progress with the team, they lost 5 of their last 6 but at least they were even in the playoffs conversations mid-season, you would laugh at that thought in the last few years.

I think both of the Bears coordinators are gone, sadly. 99.9% gase will be a HC next year.

I'm not looking forward to Hue Jackson leaving...

There may be a chance that he replaces Marvin if they lose on Saturday. And then Marvin become the GM that we've never had.

...I have never been a fan of Lovie Smith and his weak offensive mind . While unexpected his firing is the best thing that could happen for the Bucs in a passing dominated league imho .

Weird. Is that why the Bucs had the #5 offense in the NFL last season? Good call

I am looking forward to Hue Jackson leaving ;)

He would have been a good HC on any non-shit team like the Raiders.
