Geno and Winston aren't even close imo in college. Winston is only regarded as a top QB cause he plays for FSU which hasn't lost a game for 2 years, he is being over hyped. Geno threw for 4200 yards, 71% comp, 42 TD and 6 INTs his senior year. Winston is throwing 3200 yards, 21 TDs and 17 INTS... That's garbage lmao. IN 3 years that Geno was the starter he threw 20 INTs combined. Not to mention the guy is retarded and going to bring more drama to the team than Manziel or Michael Sam could ever do. He might not even finish out the season with FSU cause of what's unfolding and the guy walks out of the store with crablegs cause he thinks he can do whatever he wants already...

I feel bad for whoever drafts Winston if he really does end up going 1st rd. (Better not be the fucking Jets)

Winston is the most talented QB to come out since Luck (no, I'm not saying he is the next Luck). In terms of physical talent, anticipation, timing, running ability, size, Winston is a perfect prospect. Everything and the only thing wrong with him is off the field: behavior and work ethic. He receives high praise for acting as a natural leader, however.

If you're looking at his INTs, understand that his O-line is pretty shitty, and his receivers are pretty young and inexperienced. Rashad Green is the only WR he can really count on to run the correct route and move chains, and O'leary the TE.

Winston makes FSU good. Without him they would be a five or six win team.

Yea man draft another CB in the 1st round (high 1st at that). Its worked out so well the last couple of times

my favorite part of Week 2 against the Jets was when Jordy burned both of their last 2 first round picks in one play. Lolmilliner lolpryor

FSU isn't even close to the team they were last year. They lost so much talent, guys that are already logging a lot of snaps as starters and rotation players in the NFL as rookies. Like you said, Winston is the reason why they're still winning all these games.

He needs to mature and grow up really fast if he's going to make it long term in the NFL. He's the best QB in this draft based on pure talent and ability. Where his head is at, at times is the question. If only Winston had Mariota's head on his shoulders.

Lol, I guess if they want to draft another CB, about 10 picks higher then one should go, great. It wont change the fact that, that Offense will still be horrible. rolf

I've seen people compare him to JRuss. I don't know about all that, I mean he seems pretty passionate about the game and winning, but his ability to study the game is my biggest question. If he doesn't want to put in the work like Jruss, or just wants to get money and fuck bitches, then he'll flop.

Mariota is terribly overrated in my opinion. I could see him busting easily: doesn't play in a pro offense, throws inaccurate passes, slight frame. He's built like Kaep, but with a weaker arm and, I would assume, better pocket presence (only because there isn't anyone worse in that aspect of the game than Kaep). If this was last year's draft, Mariota would be above Manziel and below Carr, at least in my opinion.

Could you see any teams (Raiders included, but not exclusively) trading back into the first if Gurley is still available late, or is that something you don't anticipate happening?

It's hard to tell where Gurley is even going to go right now. He has been projected as anywhere from a 3rd rounder to a 1st rounder from what I've seen.

Gurley's draft value will depend greatly on how much he improves before the combine. If he can pass teams' physical evaluations, participate in his pro-day, or even run some combine drills, it will help ease the minds of scouts immensely. As it stand now, he is a kid recovering from an ACL who may or may not be able to play the way he once did.
